Michael Gulezian will speak about composition for solo acoustic guitar in extreme alternate tunings, with emphasis on technical execution and articulation, and more philosophically about lifetime pursuit of creative self-expression.

3:00 - 4:15

Muriel Anderson will demonstrate fingerstyle techniques that carried her all the way to victory in the National Fingerstyle Guitar Championship. She is fluent in many styles and she will field questions and offer insight from jazz to bluegrass, from classical to country.

4:30 - 5:45

Stephane Wrembel's workshop will be focused on gypsy jazz. He will demonstrate techniques and talk about his favorite subjects, including the 1000 year migration of Gypsy music from India to France; Django; African grooves;

Middle Eastern colors and Indian moods.
